to me, autumn is always a new year.... maybe it's because after the summer heat, the cool freshness feels so good...but to be honest....everything in my life starts around the fall. this fall is no different...our son-in-laws parents who we are quite close to have accepted a job in california, soon they will be moving, bringing about a mixed bag of emotions. his dad was laid off last march...looked everywhere for work...nothing to be found...now this opportunity arose, for which i am grateful...never the less...it is sad to see them go. my youngest daughter, amy and i, along with rylee will drive down in late october and fly home.
another major concern are our finances, as my darling husband has been working sporadically these last couple of weeks. being on disability, it will be difficult to get a job...but i will now start looking. i am hoping to find something part time and within walking distance. when my husband isn't working, i start to panic, but in reality God has always provided. a big plus is that a disability insurance i took out when i was working, which gives me a small monthly stipend is offering to allow me to cash out...which i am going to do...but my husband and children thought i needed to ask for more to allow for inflation...yesterday my husband e-mailed the company and now my hope is that we hear from them soon ...that will resolve my extreme panic. all things go through God and He does take care of me:)

a rainy day
it has been a bitter sweet day as our darling daughter left for her home in denver this morning. we are all missing the joy that shines through her.... lots of changes too...wondering if facebook is good for me...i only like it to keep in touch with my close friends and children. i am thoroughly enjoying doing my cross stitch and sewing. feels like fall is here, especially with the rain falling...autumn is my favorite time of year:)
